I’ve been fishing more heavily the past year or two and I was busy at work (wildfires) last September so I went out with the tenkara rod to a pond to hammer it out. Some pluses-
It wasn’t a bluegill lol.
The month is young to get a lot of much bigger catches.
I was able to swing a quick stop at all. I was running errands with a two year old and two week old baby at home with my recovering wife. I finished the errands early and happened to be 5 minutes from a pond.
