About 2 weeks ago, my grandfather gifted me all of his fishing poles (3) and his tackle box. With all of this “new” fishing equipment, it started to become chaotic in my family's garage as poles and other fishing gear were everywhere! Therefore, I needed to create or buy something to store all of this equipment.
While buying definitely would’ve been cheaper in hindsight, I wanted to use my woodworking skills I learned throughout high school to put to the test, even though it’s been about 3 years since I even built something!
Luckily for me, I didn’t have to buy any wood as my family has a ton of scrap wood from various projects around our house. I only had to buy wheel casters (4), plastic clips (11), drill bit hole saw kit, deck screws, finishing nails, and some smaller screws.
I’m very happy with my completed DIY project as it will allow me to store my fishing poles and gear while allowing me to continue to build up my fishing collection.
