Saw some guy catch a MASSIVE carp on this set up and he was kind enough to show me everything but he didn’t know the name of it, his brother or cousin gave it to him?
For those interested, it’s kol-aid, oatmeal and canned corn. He added corn to the hooks. Does corn float? Does the corn make the hooks float and the rest is to attract the fish by scent?
Anyone with insight who could help me understand would be much appreciated! I’ve learned that if I know why im fishing a certain way, like why the fish like it, how it works etc, I have a much better time fishing cuz I actually rig stuff right and am able to get fish on.
