I'm a native iOS developer and lifelong fishing enthusiast. Recently, I had some free time and decided to build a new app for my portfolio — but instead of creating “just anything,” I wanted to work on something I truly enjoy and believe in.
Key Features:
Fishing Log: Record your catches, baits, fishing spots, and notes
Quick History Access: Instantly review past locations in the forecast and check their real-time forecasts on one click
Tide Charts: View detailed tide forecasts for your fishing spots
Weather Forecast & Fish Activity: Get daily/hourly weather updates and predictions for fish activity
Fishing Planner: Schedule trips, get notifications, and track catches by trip
Interactive Fishing Map: Pin spots and catches with custom markers and colors
Daily Tips: Helpful fishing tips delivered every day
Now I’m working on a Gear Section, where you’ll be able to save your rods, reels, lines, and even build your own setups to use when planning trips or logging catches.
I also plan to improve the Fishing Planner to make it even more intuitive and fun to use.
