Caught my first pickeral today but missed over 10. Im fishing a wild spot but its very weedy/grassy/paddy so ive been using weedless hooks and styled lures. Theyve been eating up my sencos which ive setup texas style and wacky with 3/0 and 5/0 hooks and some frogs. I let them eat the stick let it run then go for setting the hook but it comes out 90% of the time. No problem with bass and other species but ive been targeting these guys since i found this spot. I imagine treble hooks would be much more efficient but its just too grassy, i tried throwing some ploppers today but it was too much. Any lures or suggestions would be great.
