I’m wondering why the bail on this daiwa BG is tilted back and not in a straight position? It’s not like that on my other reels
Thanks in advance

  1. Deepfried_delecacy on

It’s so the line gets guided up into the line roller when you close the bail and start reeling.

  2. It’s common on some reels, purportedly to reduce twist / help with line lay, but it’s not universal

  3. Why do so many people ask this? It’s super obvious that it’s a manufactured bend and intended to be that way.
