I just started to fish on land and not off a paddle board. I can’t seem to figure out how to properly “revive” a fish before giving them time to relax before swimming away. What would you change about this release?

Frankly, if we’re keeping it real, this pup is going to be just fine. This is a perfectly fine release, stop watching videos of people babying these critters. The whole rock-a-fish-in-the-water thing is mostly bullshit, especially for a small bass like this.
