Asked my buddy that doesn’t fish to help spool my reel and came back to this monstrosity. It’s got several tight knots throughout the line. Even if I spend the hours trying to get this untangled, is the line gonna be in worse condition anyway? This is brand new fresh out of the box 70 dollar sink tip line.

Doesnt look too bad to me from this photo unless there are some real kinks/folds or clear bend damage. I’d give it a go if I were you.

Seems to me you’re primed to answer your own question–and report back your findings. Hehe. I can’t imagine why a new line would be ruined…
