I would love some help ID'ing this trout. Thought it was a brook trout, but someone just told me its a golden? If anything, maybe a golden rainbow, but I have never seen nor heard of anyone catching on where I found this guy (a nice river in Colorado’s front range).
Not debating that it isn't a golden or saying thay guy is wrong, I've just gotten mixed reviews on Google and would love some to explain what it is and how they know 🙂
If you could also please explain traits that make it easy to ID. I'm still learning my trout and its hard to tell when they are smaller.
Thanks so much!
