I’ve seen quite a few people posting their new catch modes lately . I fished out of one for 2 seasons and loved it. I did all sorts of mods on the boat but one of my favorites was sprucing up the bench seat. I just used to cam straps to attach a boat swivel seat bracket onto the bench with the pedestal seat attached. It made a world of difference in the comfort factor and also gave me the ability to easily turn around and access the back of the boat. I thought I’d share it in case any of the new owners wanna give it a try. I’m 6’ and right around 170lbs, the pedestal seat does raise you up a bit but I never felt unstable and never had a capsize across dozens of dozens of outings(beer sometimes included). I did start out with just strapping one of those cushioned bucket top swivel seats on there and it worked very well. I just liked it so much I decided to upgrade to the pedestal seat, but yeah that bucket top seat is a much cheaper option.
