Driftless – wisconsin camping/fishing advice

Hello fellow anglers!

I’m traveling from the UP to St. Louis with a pop up camper and I need a halfway point to stay for a couple of days. I am looking at Governor Dodge State Park and wondering if this would be a good place to stay if I want to fish the eastern part of the driftless area? I am not looking for anyone’s secret spot! Just general advice as to whether I can get into some fish within 60-90 min drive of that campground. I don’t really want to go further west at this time because I don’t want to add too much extra drive time onto this trip. Thanks in advance!
