Not a bad night of fishing. Hard to take a solo photo, would love any suggestions y’all use when you fish alone to get a decent shot.

If it’s a noteworthy fish, I’ll take one in the net and then another as I’m lifting them out of the net into the water – knowing that the shot might not even happen. I also let the fish hang out in the net in some (not too crazy) running water for a bit so they can recover and calm down before lifting them out and into the water. Also, besides potentially directly hurting the fish, squeezing will also make them fight.
