The uneven hull is making this more complicated and flipping it upside down doesn’t seem to work unless I remove the seat mount and remove the knobs for the storage. Tying it down and it feels extremely unstable to the point where I don’t want to leave the house in fear of losing anything. Have a Malone versarail and the bars are bending… Does anyone have any methods, roof rack recommendations or systems to make this process smooth and stable?

Saddles or wings. They fit the shape of the kayak and it won’t wobble around.
