Had a blast yesterday and also met some cool people. Took my shark rod out with me, which is not often, because I saw a bigger leopard shark the day before. Brought my light line set up also. Caught a surf perch on light line, cut that into 3 pieces and threw it out for bait. Got tagged twice within about 5/10 mins but couldn’t get a hookset. Rebaited with the center section, and 5 mins later was hooked up to this beauty. Tight lines!

Thats a beautiful leo! I’ve heard they are tasty but I never kept one myself.
