Ive caught smallmouth in here before and was wondering if anybody has had luck with ned rigs in current like this before

Not at all. You’ll just have to mess around with a few different size jig heads to see what works.

Def bounce a Ned through there. Try a 1/4oz head, cast up current to the far side, keep yer rod tip up, keep yer line tight and bounce it all the way down. Repeat.

It’s perfect for a ned,they are great over rocky bottoms,you just have to go up in wieght as much as you can.
