After fishing at the trinity river, my bail started to making a croaking noise every time I opened and closed it. As a result I decided to unscrew the bail, and see if there’s any junk in there. Bad idea. After opening it, a kind of spring thing that I assume keeps the bail in its closed position popped out, with a small metal piece inside of the spring. I haven’t lost anything, but I have no idea how to get the bail back to being straight. If there’s anyone who can help me, please do. I’m not really in the position atm to buy a replacement.
