Big articulated or just a big chunk of craft fur. I personally wouldn’t be targeting them right now as they are in the middle of spawning.

Size 2 or 1/0 sparkle minnow in white

Good old fashioned Wolly Buggers in black or green caught me plenty of bull trout on the BC side of the mountains back in June and July.

Start small. White micro wooly bugger. Some of my biggest fish have eaten a small streamer, then bump it up if they aren’t interested. Like Egan’s poacher.
