This (I'm assuming) algae seems to have pooled/grown along this one bank of a pond I'm fishing at. Doesn't extend far into the water and I didn't see it along another part of the bank I fished. This pond is part of my city's water supply, of that info makes a difference

Looks like blue green algae. Just dont drink it or let a pet drink it.
If your allowed to fish that pond being your city’s water supply I’d let them know. Blue green algae is no joke especially if it’s in water people eventually drink
