Always had someone from cabelas do it for me and first time spoiling braid, is this enough spool? Or should I get rid of some?

  1. always remember the way it looks when you first spool is not what it’s gonna stay like. Whenever I spool fresh line on, I always set up a weighted end like a Carolina rig or something like that maybe a weighted Texas rig, and just cast as far as you can. It’ll feed like out as much as you can get out and you’ll reel it back in with tension so it’ll spool back on better.

  2. That will work great. With that specific reel, you can actually put more on if you want, as that reel is outstanding in how it manages braided line and so you can spool them fuller than you can with most other reels.

Start throwing casts. It won’t take long to find out.

It also won’t long for it to sort itself out.
