I usually fish with spinning reels for predator fish but then I noticed these guys, they swim in large packs close to the shore to eat all the algea. They are not interested in any of my lures. I do have some pineapple flavoured boilies laying around I bought for carp fishing, would that work on them?

  1. They kinda look and move like mullet. Not sure, as they prefer salt or brakish water, but they do move far inshore from time to time.

They can be caught on bread but are famously hard to catch. Real powerhouse fish though!!

They could be grasscarp try to throw out some bread and if they eat it in that case you can catch them on the surface
But they are pretty strong so dont use too light gear
