I spent yesterday morning out of cell phone and radio range. When I eventually drove out of the mountains, I was saddened to learn of the passing of Robert Redford. I’m sure I’m not alone in regarding A River Runs Through It as an all-time classic.
Norman Maclean’s words are often on my mind when I’m out there fishing. “The river was cut by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.”
