New PB, biggest bass ever for me. Ive only ever caught dinks in this pond so when this one went for a run and started ripping drag my heart started racing. Couldn't keep my hands steady to take a good picture. 🤣 moments like those are what I live for!!! Tight lines everyone. (No scale but she was probably a bit less then 7)

That’s about how it happened for me – most largemouth bass I’d caught were just little dinks <5″ long that happened to be roaming around near the bluegill I was catching, then one day a 14″ fella popped up outta nowhere.
looks nothing close to 7 lbs
