Sorry for the poor quality pictures, the seller is an older gentleman and not a fisherman, so he’s unable to give anymore information. Seller is asking $100.
He claims to have taken it to a local fly shop, and someone identified it as a “Vintage Oyster Bay” bamboo rod. I’m not aware of an Oyster Bay, but did find Bill Oyster rods and holy shit. But to me it looks more like and older Orvis rod with the script more resembling examples I found on eBay saying “Orvis Impregnated”.
Anyone help with an ID/value would be greatly appreciated!

He took it to the wrong shop, It’s an Orvis, looks like a 7 1/2 or 8 foot 2 piece. $100 is a steal. Actual value depends on exact length and condition, probably in the $300-500 range.
