Mother in Laws boyfriend accidentally broke (not while fishing) the rod my late father gave me before passing away
Is there any way to fix it? I assume it will never be the same but its all I have of my dad.

If it was only the top ringlet there’s repair kits but i think this might be too far down to repair.

Man, that sucks OP. It does not look like a rod that breaks down in pieces so I dont know if you can fix that. If it breaks down you might be able to find a similar or same rod and buy it just for the replacement parts. Maybe reach out to the manufacturer and see if they can help you out. Even if you could, it probably wont have the strength to keep fishing. Maybe someone with more knowledge than me can chime in. At the very least You should definitely try to repair with some glue/adhesive and keep it as a keepsake. You could at least display it. Also, you can remove the reel and just use it on a new rod – that way you can keep the reel in service catching fish. My guess is your dad would probably like that you kept the reel going on a new pole. I know thats what I would want if this was my kid and this happenned – throw that reel on another rod and have my kids keep using it to catch fish for sure.
