I think people from r/fishing were stupid and didn’t understand the question so I went here , I want to ask if it would move its tail when reeling it in like a soft bait or do I need to bump it to make it move its tail

I’m not familiar with this bait specifically but I don’t think that glide baits are designed to initiate movement on their own, just straight reeling. I’d guess that if you straight retrieved it it would probably just come straight in. I think it’s like a Zara Spook/Puppy where you give it a jerk to send it one way and then the successive jerks swing it across the retrieving path.

  2. It should move, these things can vary depending on design. Easiest way is to drag it through the water slowly when you get there. But yes, it should have a nice swimming motion

Most of this style lure will swim when reeling.

Idk this exact one but I’d bet that yes it will.

I use these things all the time, yes, it will move properly while reeling in. Speed is a factor in this and is different for different lures. Personally, I like to use a combination of reeling and twitching with this particular lure. Then sometimes for s**** and giggles I’ll do the figure eight by the boat dock with it.

But yes to answer your question it will move just reeling it in and I have caught fish on a slow steady retrieve on lures just like this.
