Are the guides midway up the rod fixed together like this or are they just stuck? Wanted to see if anyone knew before I started pulling.

Shouldn’t be like that, it appears to that ~~too~~ not enough ~~much~~ force was applied when opening ~~joining the two pieces together and the *”plug”* in the ferrule end was dislodged.~~
