Just do it. Makes fishing better. Makes fishing stories better. You’re gonna want to know the weight of that pb or no one’s gonna believe you. If I forget my scale I leave the water and I go back and get it cause what if? The rush I got after getting my current pb on the scale was insane and intense. I also get pbs for each body of water which adds to the thrill. I don’t weight every fish just any I think are over a pound. Anyone else like this? Anyone anti scale think it ruins it? I see lots of folks on YouTube who just get a length but I gotta pull weight. (Pics are my current pb before and selfies before and after weighting. And the prior pb.)

I don’t have a scale yet because knowing my luck bringing one along will ensure I don’t catch anything, but if I don’t bring one I’ll get some good ones. It’s kind of like on a day they call for rain, if you bring an umbrella with you, it doesn’t rain, but if you leave it at home, you get caught in a downpour.
Not anti scale just don’t care enough about weights people can believe me or not ik what I caught
I only catch when I leave it at home
Don’t tell me what to do…
I only weigh fish that seem heavier than normal. Otherwise, I’m happy with just the memory and maybe a photo.
