Apologies as I’m sure something like this gets asked a lot, but I noticed a spot on one of my rods (Echo Bad Ass Glass Quick Shot) and wanted opinions on it.
Is this a crack in the epoxy? If so, is it anything to worry about?
Since this isn’t even really showing to well in the photo I’m imagining this is a “just fish and don’t worry about it” sort of deal, but wanted to ask for some extra peace of mind lol.

No sure if it’s a big deal, but if it were me, I wouldn’t be worried about it.
It just looks like sloppy workmanship to me. I wouldn’t worry about it.
Hard to tell from the photo, but it does look like the epoxy is cracked a little around the guide foot. Quit worrying about it and go fishing. The thread wraps are what does the real work of keeping the guides on, the epoxy is just there protecting and securing the thread.
I’ve used gorilla clear two part epoxy I little dab will help stabilize it
Well it’s the epoxy applied to the blank so unlikely anything goes wrong. And if it does… echo has the easy replacement warranty.
