I have two rods: 5′ L 3pc UglyStik and a 6.5′ M 2pc Shimano. The only reel I have is a Basspro brand spincaster that can run up to .. 8lb? It’s been really nice to me so far just running 4lb mono
A friend helped me with all this initial purchasing like 5 years ago. I have started to get back out this fall so I wanted to update or improve where I can. Not trying to spend more than maybe $100 til next season
