Measure your thumb and then use the photo as a reference to see how many thumbs long the fish was.

Take a rough measurement of your hand and just multiply by like 3. Take the biggest measurement you can 😂😂😂

I judge by my hand. I think it’s about 1.75 the length of your hand.

It’s not the size. Unless you’re talking slot limits, then it matters. Otherwise, what’s the difference between 12 and 14? (That’s clearly where this fish is at). Peace!

I’d say 14 or a hair under.
I remember the first really “big” rainbow I ever caught. I estimated it was 19 inches long. It went from the butt of the rod to the last L in the “Powell” printed on the side of my rod.
When I got home I measured it. It was 15.5 inches.
