This is the Brazos River in Texas.
It passes under a freeway overpass and a set of railroad tracks as noted by the parallel lines on the left and right. The two ovals on the left are the pillars that hold up the road, and the outcropping on the right is the support for the railroad. This section is all rocky and full of debris and old pillars (the 4 black dots).
I tried to note the flow of the water. There are a couple of spots where the water swirls and sits at a faster or slower pace.
I want to catch Catfish and Gar here. Any thoughts on rigs to use or where to cast?

I’m no great fisherman but chicken liver on any old catfish rig with a weight would probably work if you toss it in between the railroad and road right on the left of the outcropping, at least that’s what I would do lol
The eddys will hold fish, they rest in there at the bottom
