Shown is a DK150 I bought from Dankung for $160 and a $31.50 Rollfish Grandmaster II 902 rod, which comes with two tips: M and MH. With M tip it's good for about 6g to maybe an ounce. With MH tip, it launches lures from about 18g to 2oz.
I was expecting little from the rod, but it surprised the hell out of me. Backbone is pretty solid. Tips, I'd describe as medium to medium fast. And the length really allows launching of lures. The butt section is relatively short, so it works really well for twitching jigs (what I bought it for).
The reel is a Calcutta Conquest clone that is about the size of a Calcutta Conquest 100DC (larger than the non-DC CC100/SE/BFS). First casts, the spool seemed "jumpy" and unbalanced. After a couple dozen casts, it was buttery smooth. It's mag brakes work great and we're easily dialed in. Unplanned, but the very dark green of the reel is a perfect complement to the jade green of the rod.
So far, I love this combo.
