Black water

Hey everyone. Just moved from SoCal where I fished saltwater, to South Carolina where I’m trying bass fishing in the black waters of waccamaw river.

I’m having lots of success with bluegill. Bobber and honestly a tiny rooster tail to keep it off the bottom. I want bass. I’ve caught 2 largemouth, both about 4 inches long.

I’m wondering what y’all throw in blackwater for bigger bass. I know the visibility for them is low so I’ve been throwing a lot of lures with flash/noise but can’t seem to get on anything bigger than those 4 inch bass. I see big bass striking the water all around me. I’ve thrown frogs, poppers and still nothing. I guess my question is…it’s been warm and sunny. Should I be Texas riggin stuff out deep?
