Its also very loose and the reel randomly spins and takes line out

check the front of your reel for the anti-reverse switch, if not that, the anti-reverse clutch is busted

If there is a switch underneath to turn on the anti-reverse, flip it the other direction. If there is no switch (some reels don’t have one), then there’s a problem with the anti-reverse and you will need to take the rotor off the reel to figure it out.
There should be a little switch right where you see a little switch in this picture. That’s the anti reverse switch

Adjust the drag, look at the reel from the front, and turn the thing on the reel to the right (probably) and then pull the line straight from the reel to test it, but remember to keep it a little loose, cause when you get a big fish and the drag is max tight it wont give line and it’ll snap
