It’s 1000% a stocked trout. Could be an older holdover. I’ve noticed the older stocked trout start to take on some of those wild trout characteristics. Good catch regardless.

Not sure how the other commenters are so sure, but since I don’t know where you are located, fair enough. Up here (British Columbia), they clip the adipose fin on stocked trout, so you can clearly tell the difference between wild and stocked for catch and release purposes.
