I was wondering if anyone would know the difference in these rods? as they’re the same length and action besides the swim bait part, I’m assuming I need the swim bait but I wasn’t sure

a medium heavy swimhbait rod is much stouter than a medium heavy ‘standard rod’ the mh swimbait will cast 1-4oz MOST LIKELY, whereas the carolina will more likely be 1/4-1oz

Without knowing what rod it actually is, this is hard to answer. Often these differences will be in the handle design, ie. length and split vs full grip, and in the lure weight rating.
