Local reservoir was pea soup. Layers of three this green "stuff". Thicker down wind.
How top fish it. Assumed i need to use noise making lures. Tried head bangers, clickbait jigs, and crankbaits. Fish for hours caught one small perch. I've pulled crappy and bass out of this Pond before. No fish in the usual spots . Once I could see Fish arches on the sonar they were showing at 6 and 10 ft
Used crankbaits that ran 4 to 6 ft and 8-1/2 feet. Yet no bites.
Also, Being fall I put the yak just off of transition points cast to shore and retrieved back over the drop offs. Again nothing. Any suggestions?

Thats easy. You only need one thing really, maybe 2. A Texas rigged plastic or a jig to punch through it. And then a top water frog. Throw the frog first, if you ever get a blow up and miss pick up your other rod and throw it right where you got the blowup because that fish is still sitting down there waiting to eat. I call it the 1-2 method. Works for every fish
Top water frog near the banks, buzzbaits, top water walking lures like the Hedon super spook. Or bottom jigs like swim jigs or football jigs.
