I’m new to fishing and was wondering if anyone could share some tips on how to fish at this spot in Istanbul, Turkey. What gear and techniques would you recommend for a beginner here?

From what I’ve seen others do. Buy live bait, not shrimp. Maybe shrimp to catch bait fish and then use the bait fish. I’ve been trying this. I’m not necessarily the most patient person so I have a hard time with this but the few times I’ve tried it I’ve hooked and lost big fish.
