Savage gill was getting chewed up. Missed a huge bass though slipped on the hookset and almost went in the creek. Still had it on for a second after getting my balance but it showed its head and spit the lure. I know that thing as close to 5lb saw how big its mouth and eyes were and it couldn’t jump all the way out.
