I had a Daiwa saltist westcoast 9’6 before for jetty fishing and that rod snapped in half after 2 months when I set the hook on an 18inch spec trout. I’m looking for a better option rod and didn’t know which one to pick. Is this rod practical for jetty fishing? If not, is there any other better rod with 9ft and above in length? Budget under $200. I normally fishing with a floater and long leader.
