After a long battle of getting my rod and spooling it totally wrong to then spooling it perfect and then learning that my anti-reverse was broken and then being able to switch for a new rod and carefully spooling that rod….I caught this here little guy as my first fish finally, and I couldn't be happier 😁

Awesome!!!!! Yes don’t give up, and don’t be afraid to ask for advice. I’ve been doing this my entire life and I still have days where I screw up my line, lose ten lures, and don’t catch a damn thing, you just keep at it. Well done, this is just the beginning, this rabbit hole can go far!
