Had a killer day yesterday

It was just one of those perfect days yesterday. The sun was shining, but it wasn’t hot, the temperature was just right. I pulled into one of my regular spots and was the first and only person there all day. First cast, had a hit but missed the hook set. Second cast, hooked a beautiful little brown. Third cast, hooked into a nice rainbow. Almost every cast I threw there was at least some interest in the bait lazily drifting by. I proceeded to catch a mix of a dozen browns and rainbows throughout the 4 hours I was on the water as well as missing a good half dozen that were able to spit the hook out. This was probably the best trout day I’ve ever had to date
