I am flying in a few days and realized my two piece fishing rod can’t fit in my luggage’s even when disassembled I’m wondering if I can somehow detach the bottom part of the main piece

Sorry you’re finding out this close to your trip but no. Either pay a fee for your oblong carry on, buy a 7’ four piece rod, or buy a rod at your destination like I did.
