You will need more line, and it’s not laying right.
There will be a very thin plastic washer behind your spool, take that off if you want to run mono, and put it back on if your running braid (braid is thinner than mono)
Don’t lose the thin plastic washer.
You want the line to be like 1/8″ or 1mm from the edge of your spool.
