A friend gave me some foam terrestrial flies he found in a tub next to a river he hikes. It was a couple size hoopers and two of these mystery flies. Is this fly a chubby chernobyl?

I get some salt flies called gurglers that are very similar. Backwater schooly Snook and flats Redfish will gobble that up.

I think this might be too big for my local waters. But I guess it couldn’t hurt to keep it in my fly box
