Dad doesn't fish much anymore, ya boi wants to land bass fresh, and specks/reds/flounder/black drum on the TX coast. Last pics are some lure's I painted and put together.

Find a 7′ Medium power Fast Action with a 2000-3000 spinning reel. Put an 1/8oz Jig Head and 3″ Paddletail on it. Cast, drag on the bottom slowly, reel, repeat.
EDIT; Medium Light is my preference.

Those green Shimano Curado baitcasters are great reels. They are larger than newer reels but still really good workhorse reels. Look to be older B or D series reels. Solid bass reels.
Hard to tell what most of it is from the pics but looks to be older gear that’s still in good, useable condition.
