So I used to fish a lot with my dad when I was younger, mostly caught bluegill and small bass. A good friend of mine I haven’t seen in a while, got a hold of me a few months back and asked if I wanted to go fishing with him. I haven’t been since I was like 15. He specifically wanted to catch bass so I ended up buying the abu Garcia max pro bait caster and a few lures. So we went about 3 times and either didn’t catch anything or caught some smaller bass. Well last weekend we went out to the reservoir in our town and after about an hour I got my first hit, missed it but thru it back in the same spot and I got em. I used a 3/8 oz jig with a craw trailer, seen a vid about them so figured I try it out.
