Alright folks I’m tired of sitting on the side lines. I’ve fished for a bit now but now I’ve decided I want to give fly fishing a try. I need someone to potentially speak to me like a 10 year old because after allot of research, I still have no idea what fly rod to buy. I like to fish for bass and trout and just don’t know what pole/setup to purchase.
I’d prefer to just have a “one and done” set up to catch big and small fish and would appreciate any help I can get. Been looking heavily at ORVIS and G.LOOMIS but would appreciate any tips on what rod and gear I need to get out there and join the sport.
