Hello hello good people of /r Fising_Gear!
My friends and I are planning another trip to Bali next year to catch GT. From previous experience, there is a possibility of catching 20 – 30kg monsters using gear we've rented from the captain.. In all the excitement of planning, a crazy thought crossed my mind, would it be a good idea or a crazy one to use my Revo Toro Beast HS60 to try and catch one of these behemoths and of so what kind of braid poundage should I be spooling on the reel?
We'll be casting stick baits and poppers upwards of 100g all day. GTs are absolute monsters and I'm just wondering of the revo toro beast would be able to take the abuse?
