Was surf fishing La Jolla, SoCal last night when I noticed 2 pairs of these glowing and blinking green “eyes” stationary in the surf. Didn’t seem like the bioluminescent red tide we get, was wondering what it could be? I noticed around 10 pairs of them scattered around after a while, all sitting in one spot. They were fairly close to shore, about 100-150 ft, any ideas?
